Fibatek in partnership with Etn. De Sadeleer & Van Wilder NV, also known as 'SAWY' who are a family owned Belgian trimming manufacturer, situated in the peaceful village of Erpe-Mere, near to the town of Aalst.  The factory is minutes from the motorway network giving easy access to the UK and the rest our Europe.

SAWY was founded in 1930 to specialise in the design and manufacture of quality trimmings for use within upholstery, carpet, soft furnishing and lightning.

Sawy manufacture goods on a bespoke basis, to an individual design & colour specification of the customer.  This system involves slightly larger order quantities and a lead time of approximately 3-4 weeks for machine made goods and up to 6-8 weeks for handmade items, depending on seasonal demand.

Quantity examples: Machine made - Cord, Flanged Cord, Ruche 400M per colour.  Bullion Fringe, Tassel Fringe 200M per colour.  Hand made - Tassels & Tiebacks from 48 pieces per colour.

Fibatek saw the need to offer some SAWY goods from stock and now offer carefully selected items from our UK warehouse.  These include the Canterbury, Chelsea, Natural, Upholstery and Warwick collections as well as some individual tieback designs.  Pattern cards displaying the stock collections are also available.

If you are already using trimming products, we would be very happy to offer you similar items made by SAWY. Simply send us a cutting of the products & colours required and where possible we will make a sample and quotation for your approval.
